Le Roof - Noumea

Wonderful, atmospheric restaurant over the lagoon. At dusk sharks accumulate below the deck. The dining area is four-sided with a large open void and view of the illuminated Ocan below, where the circulating predators can be seen, catch their dinner. It is advisable not to lean too far over the guard rails... Oh, seafood is fantastic and not too expensive for such a unique experience. Friendly, helpful staff complete an unforgettable night.

After some subpar experiences in Nouméa we went here. Excellent location with magnificent views of the fish and sharks. Steak was excellent, service even better and the wine was good. Thanks for a few great dinners. We'll be back.

Le Roof is in a cluster of buildings that are directly over the lagoon so you are able to see fish in the spot lit waters below. Classic style cuisine, with a local twist and very attentive service. Our first night out in Noumea was very enjoyable

We had a lovely wine and cheese tasting at the restaurant, so not here for a meal. Views are outstanding and the wines were very nice.

Wow what a way to end my journey on this paradise island. I came here for my mum who recently passed and we wanted to go to this restaurant, so I went on my own and the food was amazing (especially the dessert) the staff were informative about gluten free and wine and very welcoming. I sat outside and just watched all the sea life come out to play, turtles, sharks even a dolphin! Magical Thank you
