Sashimi was one of the best in bay area. Fresh and superior quality. However, at 5pm, sushi rice temperature was cold. Udon was outstanding also. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Japanese food has always been our favorite food. Service was excellent. The fried calamari was a bit over fried. The negi toro come in a different size, more like a roll and lack a bit of that small sized flavor. Personally , also prefer the sushi rice to be a bit more sour. Prices were a bit on the high end. I come here to live my whole life and have always really enjoyed it. recently started to come to lunch, they have some specials that are a great one.

This review is based on my first visit to masa’s. I wish they had a 3.5 star, as I would give it with this review. pros: high quality fish, with sorts.
