I order a simple shoyu ramen and it tasted nothing like a shoyu ramen, and also the topping advertised on the picture does not come in the dish. I recommend Happy Sushi right across the road if you are looking for a Japanese restaurant around the area.
If you are not Asian, you may not receive a warm welcome. The prices are extremely high. I ordered some fried pork chop strips with a very vinegary sweet and sour sauce. I am feeling the consequences today. I paid $25 for a small portion of rice and a pork chop fried in tempura batter. The quality was disappointing. What's even worse is the aftermath of consuming it - I experienced severe stomach issues. The service was take-out only.
The Korean cuisine at this restaurant is excellent and authentic. It tends to get crowded, so I recommend arriving earlier than usual dining hours.
The restaurant has excellent food and service! The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
Get the Bibimbap! Many Japanese expats love this place and it’s for good reason. The kimchi is varied fresh, I especially love the tomato kimchi. Their eggplant kimchi was my least favourite, however. It had an older, mushy feel to it. Their hot cold Bibimbap are both great, traditional fresh. No crazy black beans, corn, or other stuff that do not belong in a good ol’ bibimbap. My friend had the Sashimi salad, she regretted not getting bibimbap also. The edamame is good, not salted or too crispy however. A bit healthier than usual. The iced green tea was great too, not too much sugar. Overall, will definitely be coming here again! Thank you for the great food!
