Moloko - Novodvinsk

We had a tasty meal here on our first evening in Arkhangelsk. The outside of the building looks like an office block but inside the place is cozy, if a little kitsch in places. The food was very nice, the service friendly but a little slow.

The restaurant offers many of typical Russian and Pomor dishes in different styles. Prices and on the steeper side, but portions are large and food tastes good. The appearence of the restaurant building is deceiving: unimpressive from the outside but rather nice and cozy interior decor.

If you have only one meal in Arkhangelsk, have it here! There are now many good restaraunts to choose from but only Pomorsky combines great food and service with a setting that recreates the Pomor days of old. I promise that this will,become one of your favorite dining experiences ever!

I actually visit here twice – once for lunch and again for dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent; the management was very accommodating. The ambience was that quaint nautical feel, and the place was quiet enough to enjoy intimate conversation. Strongly recommend!

We enjoyed it so much we ate here twice. Our Russian colleagues took us the first time, and we liked it so much we had to go back for more! Prices were very reasonable and they had a large menu to choose from. The location on the 3rd floor at the back of a building might make it difficult to find, but it's well worth it when you do.
