Because no one was cooking and I was the only person in line. They didn’t taste like any French Frie I’ve ever had. I threw it all out. Yuck. Save your money!!!!!!! Go anywhere else.
I ordered chopped chicken. I thought it was going to be chunks of bbq chicken. It looked more like pulled pork. We didn't like at all. We ended up taking it in a doggy bag for our dogs. They might have other things that are better. I dont know. But not the chopped chicken
Pretty good, no nonsense simple comfort food with all the fixings! The first time I came out here it was because I was in the area for a Yelp Elite Event at the Hampton Chocolate Factory, and I needed to eat real food (because, you know, I can't live off dessert alone as much as I want to). I stumbled into this place because it was a good spot to grab something quick and simple. As I've gotten older, my tastes have gotten simpler. I love the chicken, which came out extra tender with a lot of flavors, but what really is the star of the show for me is the macaroni and cheese. Thick, cheesy, and creamy, I saved it for last after I devoured the chicken and mojo cole slaw (which I'm glad I finally got a chance to try it because I originally wanted that, but got baked beans, which were good, but it wasn't what I want). The platter comes with house made pickles, tangy, juicy, they added a nice extra crunch when I made sandwiches with the little Hawaiin roll. Would come back next time I'm in Sparkman's.
I ordered the Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese and Baked Bake. The Mac and cheese and baked beans was absolutely disgusting. Why does the baked beans taste like chili and the mac and cheese was salty. The pulled pork was good but dry because I wasn’t given enough bbq sauce. Save your money please. However, the lemonade was good ?.
Had Chicken and pulled pork and both were delicious. Same with the seasoned fries. The sides were trying too hard. Slaw had vinegar in a white slaw? Kind of off putting. Bbq beans also kind of off. It's the most food for the price in the area. Everything is over $14 per plate and it was a good amount of food.
