Wharf Rd Restaurant & Bar - Nowra

Best oysters even tasted, freshly shucked there and then. Great menu with fresh tasty choices. Good wine list. Staff knew the menu and matched the wines well. Really friendly staff. Great location, restaurant air conditioned. Beautiful deck out by the river could easily spend the afternoon here watching the sailboats go by. Mains came a little early, I like to slow down n enjoy my dining experiences. The young (teen) waitress who looked after us could tell she was new but actually knew the menu (portions, flavours etc) and was so warm but composed. Great music!

Excellent service from Kimberly. Snapper was very nicely done, so was the BBQ figs. Cocktails were spot on. Ambience was romantic and not overly noisy on a wed evening.

Great Food, Pleasant Staff, Awesome Ambiance and a Great View of the River and Nowra Bridge ... a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion

I have for the 70. My friend's birthday dinner was booked after I was previously satisfied with the food, wine and service in Wharf. But I was disappointed and a little embarrassing for my guests. I booked early and asked a table on the river, but that's not what we were assigned... actually the bench was not good at all. For simplicity we have chosen tasting for all of us. I felt the dishes were uneven in size and quality and not worth the $60 charged per head. The main dish beef curry was the most disappointing... tenacious and strict. Service of young employees was on the amateur side. I'm sorry to write that.
