The decision followed the act. After we came in, we stood in front of a shelf with information about the walks on various topics, all occupied with the rocks above and below the city of Nuremberg. This time, however, we have dispensed with a corresponding tour as we have already participated in such a tour during our first visit to Nuremberg. From my own experience, however, I also knew that you had to be “good on foot” there, which I was not. Maybe there's something else if you stay there, but that's another topic! The mention of the rocky passages under the city has a special relationship in many ways when it comes to the specialties sold here: for centuries, when there was no possibility to cool the beers in today's sense, the natural conditions under the city were used for this! As mentioned in the right place, even if there is a pleasant temperature in the fresh air, there is one in the corridors that does not exceed 8 12 degrees in the course of the year! These “resources” have been used since the Middle Ages, which makes the product itself something special! Among the historical craftsmen of this farm belongs to the brewery Hausbrauerei Altstadthof, it is to some extent in the associated tradition. Today such regional specialties can be bought almost everywhere, but there are also some that are only on site. This definitely includes the 3 liter beer bottle as “Schaufensterdeko”! I suggested to my partner at the beginning that I could buy it as a gift, but it did not happen (because of the lack of cooling in the hotel and its size! Alternatively, there are also the "normal" bottles with 0.5 liter content, he could not choose among them... For this we became at another location in the old town at another branch of this manufacturer, but more there. Nuremberg has been known for its brewing art for centuries. In contrast to the general tradition, the city council has already adopted 1303! (almost 300 years before the announcement of the “Bayerian Purity Prosecutor” of 1597, the first to adopt some regulations that were almost the same with these “additions”! This should ensure the consistent quality of beers. There is still evidence that there were severe punishments when someone panicked! In the case of a “slip” it was at most embarrassing for the hurricane, but in the worst case a withdrawal of the license was threatened, which almost corresponds to a money printing machine! From then on, the saying comes: “This is how it is with a scandal! In such a case, it actually happened. To achieve a disgusting effect, it happened in the public at the time, which led to a total loss of ambitions! But even worse was when the “brewing” was completely tilted into the river... Every time, its "methods" that are no longer conceivable today, even if one would consider appropriate in the various "scandals" in the food industry. But that's just mentioned at the edge... While the “Hausbrauerei Altstadthof” was on my “list” as an interesting address that we could possibly address, it did not come (because of better “alternatives”). Under one roof you will find both production, as well as rinsing and sale. As I read the HP, it exists under the name since 1984. House-specificity is the so-called “red beer” produced exclusively in Francs. Despite modern brewing methods, it is still produced by “old” methods. In taste it should be “small soft beer with mild hop note” (HP). Since I am not a beer drinker, it must be sufficient at the place of the note; By the fact that it is at the same time as a card sale for the div. Rocky walks serve, it can quickly become “kuddly” there, because the space as such is already very narrow. The various specialties can be found in one of the shelves (well chilled from a refrigerator) and if you want to enjoy it later. At the price, I found it a little more expensive than what you paid in the beverage market. As so often it is stressed, however, that it is the so-called “civilists” that are increasingly popular and therefore have their price. For example, one liter is already calculated at about 8 10 €! With beer liqueurs (for which we decided in another place, it becomes much more expensive. Whether a tasting is also offered at the place, it is withdrawn from my knowledge! The staff was very friendly, but with the general “handling” it seemed somewhat overwhelmed. This is all but evil, but although we spent a long time in the store and wanted to ask a question for a while, the ticket sales were the foreground. It would be a shame, honestly, another operation would be quite appropriate. Whether it was the day of the week, my knowledge is withdrawn. Despite the fact that I enjoyed the high-quality equipment and that the presentation of the products was not overloaded, we found the advice in the other industry much better. It remains, however, in the case of a recommendation, even if it has possibilities for improvement from my point of view. More than an OK isn't in for these reasons.
