So who travels 2 weeks with elegant clothes? not us. so we annoyed what we had and when we went down at 18 o'clock, the place was empty. there were already two pairs. the older couple was dressed normal, the woman with a blouse and pants and the man had a jacket. the younger couple was in jeans and regular warming. we heard them make a comment that maybe the young waitress ignored them because they were not elegantly dressed. So, I guess they got the same comment when they asked for a table. if they are so slow, then please do not make the guests feel unwilling by wearing after a dress that is not really necessary. I'm glad we haven't listened and still left. we loved eating the weeping and the friendly attitude of the staff. it was very slow, but I don't think that the servier staff is due, I think it's the kitchen. the staff always came around and asked if everything was in order and let us know that it will come soon. the price is something above the summit, but I guess they use the location and the French name. the potato soup was excellent and the steaks were one of the best we had. after such a slow service and since it was so late, we decided to skip dessert. but overall we enjoyed our dinner and it happened Mother's day in Germany, so they gave me a rose and a bottle of aromatic salt which the cooked. very nice!
We had made a group trip and decided to separate from the group for a beautiful family dinner in what we believed to be a beautiful restaurant. the place was nice, the service started in a free time step something expected from a nice restaurant.) the eating was quite good, but as the dinner progressed our server disappeared shortly before the completion of the teller and never come again to ask us for dessert. my man came to the end and spoke to the man at the door that ordered the bartender to check us out. as expected, she was only interested in the beverage ordering and was upset when we told her that we wanted her to clean the table she did, but never came back to check if we wanted dessert or coffee. once again my man had to stand up to get her attention. until then we didn't want anything to get out, so we asked for the check. 20 minutes my man went up again. finally our waiter with her annoyance was tormenting us. after a little more back and forth we were ready to go and only then came the man to apologize and had the mut to tell us to give them a second chance. remember that we had ordered 2 good bottles of the castle newf you pape, so it wasn’t that we had been a “cap” costumer. this behavior of ignorance of costumes was not exclusive to our table. we saw two more tables that went on to pay, as they had waited for a long time. I find her behavior unacceptable and recommend to the people to stay away from this place
The chefs at Restaurant Brasserie know how to combine old style German fare into delicious modern variations. The style and grandeur of this restaurant reminds one of times past when restaurants and the accompanying hotels of this caliber needed to compliment each other. We had...Christmas Eve dinner here and we were delighted how well the food was prepared and the quality of the varied menu. Wild boar terrine, essence from rabbit, Pike Perch fillet, medallions of veal and flambeed almond cream all were beyond our expectations. Portions were just right allowing for one not to feel over fed. The servers were/are superb without being pretentious. They were often in the background ready to clear a finished meal and checking in periodically. The varied menu allows for a break from the local Franconian fare, but still includes a touch of Franconian/German cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant adds a sense of enjoyment to the accompanying menu. Simply, we enjoyed our meals here and it's worth considering if your seeking a diversion from the local cooking.
Nice bar with friendly staff and a large drink selection, including some exotic ones like Brazilian caipirinha fixed with some varieties of Brazilian cachaça;
Located in the luxury Le Meridian hotel this is a fabulous restaurant as you would expect. We went to a candlelight dinner for two and it was incredibly good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is luxurious, relaxing and romantic. We had the duck salad as an appetizer and it was extremely good. Only to be topped by the deer medallions that we had for our main entrée. The dessert was to die for as well. The service was very good. The dinner was very reasonably priced. The wine and beer lists are very nice. I had a split of the Mouton Cadet 2014 Bordeaux! Excellent!
