Etage - Nürnberg

The etage has been my favorite thai since my 20 years in nürnberg. fresh ingredients with excellent quality. Appetizers, such as the laab e.g., are simply a class for themselves. Excellent meat perfectly made and tastefully matched. or the delicious marinated thunfish. also the main dishes, from various local dishes to currys, are tastefully very varied and again and again (even after 20 years;-) a culinary delight. the courts on the map change from time to time; so even more often do not visit for a long time (one side starts, one side eat; as a dessert there are in the usually only sticky with mango). great what the chefs conjure in the tiny kitchen. I also like to pay a few euro more than at the snack and get no Glutamat singles for it. alone the owner manfred münich is a soul of man. you just feel comfortable and will also be well advised. as a wine lover he has always excellent bottles there and so we always like to try a new secret tip. And to my guess very good trips compared to other restaurants in n. the service is generally very friendly and not intrusive. also manfred's daughter has been making us feel at the very best in the kulinarian. yes, and the ambiente! sometimes not the usual Asian tips, such as Buddha statues, plastic wink caps or the popular aquaria, but a rustic mill. for us simply unique and cozy. and a loose and casual atmosphere. which was also ideal for business partners, for which the first point of contact is, in some cases, when they are in space n. thanks to manfred and his team for the many great hours in the etage and for the excellent eating and the delicious wine. we are very happy to come again and again.

Really a very successful evening with very attentive service and scary delicious eating. the old mill is very atmospheric and romantic, really a great location for a restaurant.The owner has taken a lot of time to explain the map and had an excellent wine recommendation. what impressed us most were artistically carved from nicely carved figures that decorated our eating. everything is made to detail here with a lot of love and attention.All in all we were very enthusiastic and want to come back at our next nürnberg visit to all cases.

My elders and I used to have been masters in the assembly for many years. meanwhile, I hadn't been there for a few years and was so happy to be able to visit again. When we arrived there, the old mill had entered me a feeling of coming home, and when I saw manfred (who obviously no longer knew me), just as before, at which theke stood, the joy of the evening was all the greater. Unfortunately, it was apparent from the beginning that strangers like us are not desired in the etage, and instead you are only given off with masters. while manfred at most of the other tables chatted with the guests all night long, we were ignored and simply not served. after the first order of drinks and eating, the team of the etage has acted as if we were not present. no one once came to our table to ask us if we wanted something else - and that, although we were very prominent in the upper stage. after about 30 minutes without drinks, we managed to draw attention to us. I said we'd like to have a glass of wine and a dessert. manfred said irritated, he had to serve other tables first, then he could also serve us. little later he came, took up our weeping order and disappeared so quickly that we had no chance to ask for the dessert again. the weeping was then put on our table as quickly as possible without asking whether we might want a dessert or a coffee.. When we finally drew attention to us again to ask for the dessert, manfred only said down from above "my chefs have already gone home. Why didn't they order something earlier? we would have liked if someone had come by... I was treated in a local way from above, and rarely I felt so involuntary. I had so many beautiful memories of the etage and the talks with manfred from earlier and I am really hard to disappoint what has become of it. the food was excellent as usual, but that doesn't make up for the evening. I cannot recommend visiting this restaurant.

Locale molto carino in un vecchio mulino.Ottima cucina thai , prezzi adeguati e non esagerati, titolare molto competente ecordiale.Locale in cui torno sempre molto volentieri!!!

Today were the first time there after it was recommended by several friends. it was tasty and beautifully dressed, but not at all sharp. even the restaurant itself is quite sweet- although the entrance area is not even so inviting. the personal is very friendly.
