Located at a prime location, this restaurant will not disappoint you a bit. The food tastes really good and the staff here is very pleasant and friendly as if being served by butler. Haven’t been there for a while now after my workplace shifted from Okhla to Gurgaon. Chicken wings and chicken kali mirch tikka are one the best starters served here. I would recommend this place for a nice chilled beer with chicken wings or kali mirch tikka.
Loved this place. Great ambience, good and cooperative staff.I Ordered non-vegetarian platter. Fish was fresh and soft, and kababs were too good.Could not resist myself from ordering reshmi kababs.
I loved the food here when I went there for the first two times, but my visit to this place last week was slightly disappointing. The chicken was hard and dry. But I am guessing it was just an accident. It still remains one of my go to places when I crave for some good Indian food.
Dawat Khana<br/ <br/ One of the best and I would say hidden gems in Delhi, Dawat Khana is owned by Bhai Upinder Singh of the famed Bhai family who owns Hotel President and whose restaurant Tandoor has been known for decades as a great Indian food place. Tandoor is now closed but Bhai Upinder carried the recipes and created Dawat Khana.<br/ <br/ I have been eating at Dawat Khana for the last 20 years and I can confidently say that their Mutton Patiala is one of the best mutton dishes in NCR. This is boneless mutton in toothpicks sandwiched between slices of ginger and an amazing curry. This dish goes best with their own version of Bakarkhani Roti.<br/ <br/ I also enjoy their Kadhai Chicken and an array of Kebabs favourite being Lehsuni Kebab and Chicken Malai Kebab.<br/ <br/ This is a highly recommended place and you must go for their Mutton Patiala with Bakarkhani Roti and Sirka Pyaaz.
