Been here twice, we had chicken Tikka hariyali, chicken Malai Tikka, chicken mughlai and butter chicken. The Tikkas are a delight, it's the best I have had in Delhi for this price range. The malai tikka is my personal favourite. Now coming to main course, it was okayish. The butter chicken was a little too sweet for my palate. If you care about ambience forget about this place but if you like me only care about the food then this is definitely a place you should check out.
Budget friendly place food was good, though not great. Sheermal, khameeri roti, laccha parantha were a bit thick in size for my taste buds and had to struggle a bit to get them in. Sabzis were comparatively better! Not an ideal place for people who prefer hygienic places.
Chicken jahangiri is a must try. We ordered chicken Tikka, chicken Afghani and tangri. Tangri was the best and other starters were okay for the price. and the naan was totally different from whatever we were used to it is light, fluffy and a bit sweet. Overall a good experience. Sheermal is a sweet bread which goes well with spicy curry. Mughalai chicken was not upto the mark. Overall a good experience.
Best quality non veg food in Delhi. The price and quantity are appropriate. It is a blessing for JNU students and the ambience is great as well.
