Restaurant Mauricio's - NUEVO VALLARTA

A nostalgic return to a restaurant we used to go to 12 years ago. Mauricios set the standard ,and was much copied. The original is still going but not as busy. However, our visit was great , food was great ,service ,excellent, and the staff could do enough to please us.

Mauricio's has become our new favourite restaurant in the whole area. It's a total package of quality food, good service, atmosphere and value. We ate there this past week. My husband and I shared the ribs and with all the rice and salad included, we even had leftovers. The ribs were outstanding and the salad was also creatively made. As is their custom, they start you with a cup of seafood broth and end with a dessert and complimentary drink. We had delicious fried bananas and a kahlua and milk. It should be pointed out that Maurcio's is a big open air palapa with lots of spread-out seating. Tons of parking, buses just and very handicap friendly. We also ordered two limonadas and the bill came to 212 pesos! For a delicious full meal

Don't let the looks fool you They almost did to me We.took a can there and we almost didn't go in But once we did we were.so happy Don't order the lobster or fish Here as the time of the season it may be.frozen but the.octopus in pina was to die for Also the fresh seafood platter was so fresh Shrimp on the beer Free tequila Oh man we didn't want to leave Fried breaded shrimp was awesome The bill came and we all laughed 5.people not even 50 us dollars.... We LL be back

Our Hampton Inn hostess recommended this place to my granddaughter and I as authentic and, in my opinion, it was. Very happy with their chille rellenos. Don 't let the average appearance of the outside dissuade you the inside is very nicely furnished decorated, and more importantly, the food is great and reasonably priced.

El lugar agradable pero el servicio y la comida muy ricos y vastos, las sugerencias muy ilustrtativas para cuando no conoces los platillos y quieres aventurar. Si lo recomiendo
