Hidden Dragon Chinese Take Away

I ordered spring rolls, Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce with green pepper and Vegetable Fried rice. I was disappointed with a five-star takeaway. The soup was very thick jelly, spring rolls were chewy, not crispy and vegetable fried rice was a raw mix of vegetable. Overall food was not appetizing or tasty.

Had a delivery order. Told it would be 30 minutes. Spot on time and order excellent. Looking forward to next time.

The last time I used this take away was when I found out they had been trading with a 2 star food hygiene rating for at least two years, how and why is this allowed? Now they have stopped storing cooked food in cardboard boxes on the floor and have managed to achieve a 4 star rating I foolishly thought I would give them another chance. Ordered four dishes, all dreadful, noodles cooked to a mush not one piece longer than an inch and crispy beef where the meat was cut up to the size of large chips. This is probably the worst Chinese take away in Nuneaton and that takes some doing!

The Hidden Dragon consistently delivers delicious food with a side of friendly service. The prices are reasonable and they offer additional options to customize your dish. I highly recommend the set meal for two, the crispy pancake rolls, crunchy beansprouts, and the delicious salt and pepper chili squid.

Having moved to nuneaton last year I struggled to find a Chinese that cooked a nice curry. So I was travelling to Coventry to my old takeaway until I found this place. The food is always lovely sometimes a long wait on delivery but worth it. Portions are a great size and food is always hot and the taste is very good.
