Samosas were a good start, then the main event, Lamb Jalfrize, if you like raw onions, raw peppers, and a bland sauce, this is for you, not for me. Chicken Tikka Marsala, so sweet, almost inedible. Won't be returning
Not good food at all, everything had a nasty after taste, a nasty frozen mixed veg curry supplied with the biryani will never use agin
I received a menu through my door so thought would give a try as had 5* Food Hygiene rating! Which I now see on the food standards website will be updated soon following being inspected again recently! I feel it will be much lower! Anyway, I ordered Chicken Korma (which is listed as a House Recommendation), Keema Biryani and 2 keema Naan for my son and I as he doesn't like too much spice. I called them directly to place the order as just eat adds a 50 pence service charge and the man was friendly despite communication being a struggle. I was told 40 to 50 minutes for delivery. After an hour and 20 minutes I had to call again to be told the food was on the way and added that he had included a popadom for the wait. Which generally get included when ordering Indian take away anyway. 10 minutes later the food arrived when I could have drove the the place myself in just 3 or 4 minutes. I am charged £17.75 which is the same as on Just eat with the 50 pence service charge incluced. The portions are good and sadly that is the last good thing I can say about the food! In fact lots of food we don't want to eat as everything has a funny taste which reminds me of them using used oil that has been used already for deep frying! Even the 3 popadom's had this same nasty flavour and even 1 of them had not expanded fully in the centre and was still hard! So it seems they can not even cook a popadom correctly! The Chicken Korma was some cooked chicken breast that had no flavour other than chicken that had been put into sauce just before delivery! The sauce was way to sweet, far to over powered by coconut and didn't seem to contain any cream at all. The Keema biryani was shocking! The rice was far too oily with that same funny taste yet also watery from the water used to cook the rice before frying with items to make the biryani. But contained plenty of minced beef not lamb! But the vegetable curry that came with it was the worst as was just some frozen veg, over cooked potato in a very bad sauce! The Naan were just not right at all! The keema inside was funny in taste and the bread flat and lifeless! Nothing like what Naan bread should be! Over all this was by far the worst delivered meal I have had in a long time and can safely say I will never return my custom again! The Jasime on the Green way way better!!!!!!!!!!
The food was ordered via just eat. I can understand a 35-50 min wait when busy... I can even understand that wait being extended by another 20 minutes. However, after 1 hour and 40 minutes, I was a little confused as to where my food was and rang to request a refund. I was shouted at. Down the phone. By the manager. I absolutely couldn’t believe it. Food was tasty but really greasy, it was also a little cold by the time it came (not surprising). Would not recommend.
Hi cheapest and most consistent Indian curry in Nuneaton, large portions no skimping tender tasty meat and thick tangy sweet and hot sauce best patia in town paired with garlic fried rice a tad heavy on the garlic and the onion bhaji were a bit dry the peswari naan was good and authentic aswell so give them a try keep up the good work team,
