I absolutely love the fish and chips from Castaways! They arrive at my door hot, perfectly cooked, and with generous portions. My children are big fans of the chicken kebabs and the American-style pancakes as well. If you haven't tried them yet, you definitely need to check out this place—either by visiting their location in the Abbeygate shopping center or by placing an order online. You can also find them on the Just Eat app!

I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beef along with a salad, and it was quite good, although it could have had more cheese. My partner and friend wanted an early breakfast, but the only option available was a breakfast ball. We requested that it be served on a plate instead, but all we received was a sausage slice, an egg, a small piece of lukewarm bread, mushrooms, and no bap. Overall, I found the breakfast to be quite disappointing considering the price; at £6, a drink should have been included for free.

For several years, the owners have been running this place, offering friendly service and delicious food right along the bus route. It's the perfect spot—easy to grab a meal, budget-friendly prices, a great selection of drinks, and always served with a big smile!
