Laryss - Nusa Tenggara Timur

Basic restaurant with delicious local food and a beautiful view. The fish was fresh and vegetables were very tasty. The owner was very nice and the waiter was a young boy who always approached us with a big smile. As our guide told us it is ‟tourist friendly”, we had no complains afterwards and yet several local people were also eating there. Totally recommend.

This restaurant stand at the beach.. with open view to the ocean. Many varieties of menu from grill fish, fried fish, sour fish soup, and other Indonesian menu. The drink was provided from tea, beer or soft drink. There was only a small billboard sign so could easily miss it. The price was cheap and the taste was average good.

This place is VERY basic. Nothing wrong with that, but set your expectations. We were there two nights in a row in the early evening, no other guest except for some cheeky cats that appear and start begging as soon as the food comes. The food is fine and the owner is friendly. It might be a bit nicer during the day, when you can see the beach. At night it’s just a bit ramshackle.

Food is awesome, owner is very nice and speaks great English. 65k for a huge grilled fish, which was amazing. Great place for a dinner if you're staying nearby.
