I ordered fish and chips, but was disappointed to find that the dish consisted mostly of unflavored chips. The two small pieces of fish were tasty, but the chips lacked flavor. The sauce provided was good and served as a tasty dip for the chips. However, be aware of the 100 NOK entry fee to the area where the restaurant is located, which is only charged to those who do not sneak in when a larger group is distracting the ticket salesperson. This unexpected fee can be a negative surprise for those simply looking for the nearest open restaurant and not interested in the village itself.
You have to pay 100 NOK per person to enter this restaurant located in the village, which feels like a rip-off. The food is mediocre at best. I ordered the mussels and it was quantity over quality. The portion was huge and I couldn't even finish it. The mussels were very small in size and it's questionable whether they were even properly cleaned.
Very nice restaurant with very friendly service. Delicious dishes. Very nice view into the bay. We had a three course menu with local traditional food.
Waiters and the waitress were very nice and the interior is lovely, however, we did not enjoy our lunch there. We ordered fish and chips. Fish was very dry, chips I can make better at home. Sauce was nice. Two stars from me. I would not go back.
Amazing breakfast buffet, with quite some vegetarian options. It’s served on a large boat in the middle of the restaurant, quite quirky. They have decaf coffee and plant based milk. We also went the night before to get a dessert and both the crème brûlée and the chocolate fondant were delicious. Staff is super friendly too.
