The restaurant itself is nice and comfortable and located in a very beautiful location, so our expectations were high. The staff and service were also friendly in all means. However, we have eaten lots of tapas in Spain as well as in other places and the food here did not live up to the expectations. Instead they were mostly just mediocre with some, like the avocados with skagen, slightly over that level... The curry mayonnaise included with bacalao (which did not impress neither) was actually horrible. The funniest thing was actually that the waitress was surprised that we wanted to share our tapas within our group instead of each one having their own. I guess most of the reviewers of the place have never been to a Spanish tapas bar or the quality has gone down. The prices were also high compared to that. I would not recommend their sangria neither as I have made so much better by myself and that should not be too difficult. Awesome tapas (band parts that we call tapas in Spain) done on the most Spanish wise. good quality eating, not expensive for the amount they take, and a very friendly service. great place to sit, including tables at the edge of the river, if good weather. if they shouldn't leave now. if you did, you should come back. they even make something special when it is their birthday!

Very friendly staff and very tasty eating! champiñiones al ajillo are better than some bars in Spain!
