This restaurant was included in our Walk the Camino package. We arrived when our table was b€ooked, but very crowded with lots of walkers on a wet evening. We had to wait about 30-40 minutes until it was ready, but could sit at front of the restaurant having a drink. Service not good, perhaps because they were busy. We were offered the Menu del Dia for €9.80 which includes 2 courses, bread, water, coffee. Food was fine.
My partner wanted to try put the pilgrim menu here. It was very inexpensive. My green salad was sprinkled way too liberally with rock salt. It crunched. Was inedible. Our main was similarly way over salted. We ordered pork loin in Oporto sauce, got a slice of fried salty ham in salty sauce. Our server was very nice and friendly, and may have been trying to steer us away from the pork loin, in retrospect. Pay a bit more or at least ask for no salt: sin sal
We had some refreshments here during our Camino hike. We had the best empanada ever, served by a very friendly lady.
