Mr Beanbags Cafe, Wigston

This restaurant is a common but popular spot, frequented mostly by locals. It's conveniently located near local shops and the Leicestershire Record Office, making it a convenient choice for a quick meal. The prices are fair and in line with what you would typically expect.

Had the opportunity to visit here several times in 2017. Food is excellent, well prepared and reasonably priced. Staff are very polite and friendly. Look forward to many more meals in 2018.

The waitress who took my order was polite and efficient, but when my hot sandwich was brought to the table, the waitress did not make eye contact, did not provide a knife or napkin, and delivered it at arm's length. There were no sauces on the table, and other customers were given cutlery wrapped in a napkin. I felt like my business was not valued, so I will try a different cafe next time. However, the food and coffee were good.

Average lunchtime visit here. We were looking for somewhere to dine at lunchtime and this place looked good. It was busy and had a good menu. But food served was average and not worth the price we paid. I noticed afterwards that there are better eating places in the area with good value. We don't mind paying above average if the food served was good enough. But sorry this place did not lived up to expectation.

I have started coming to this restaurant frequently and I should try something different from the all day breakfast, but it's just too good to resist.
