Lookout Tavern - Oak Bluffs

The food was excellent—some of the best fried clams I've ever had! The service was attentive, with the staff being friendly without being overly aggressive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The menu is limited but the food is good. The crowd is always cheerful and friendly. The staff is always upbeat and welcoming. I've been dining at the Lookout Tavern for years and have only ever had one complaint about the food; it was taken care of immediately without any hesitation. The outside seating and view of the ocean adds to the dining experience. It is located feet away from the ferry, shopping and other restaurants.

They truly live up to their claim of having the best lobster roll on the island. The lobster BLT was packed with around 2 pounds of lobster and tasted absolutely amazing. Treat yourself and try one! Just a tip: swap the chips for fries, as the chips were a bit underwhelming.

We absolutely loved it! The food was amazing—so much so that we dined there three times! The lobster roll was the best I've ever had, and the jumbo shrimp were incredible! I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I loved this restaurant. Service was great and the view was beautiful. We ordered clam chowder, steak tips, and fish and chips. The clam chowder was good, the steak tips were amazing, and the fish and chips were very good. The steak tips had great flavor and were very tender. The fish and chips were very crispy and had a great flavor. We both ordered the broccoli slaw which was excellent. Highly recommend this place!
