Kona Grill Oakbrook - OAK BROOK

It was my first time to eat there, but certainly not my last!! The food was wonderful. Compliments to the cook! The staff was friendly and lively.

We often died with Kona Grill. The food is pretty good. But this experience was terrible. The service was hardly there, if at all. Rude Server . I ordered ribeye meatballs and asked to replace potting potatoes with pommes. My husband ordered an omelette. The server was not sure if the substitution was possible. She never came back to inform me when it was or not. Half an hour to wait for our food, we hit the server and asked her if she had an update on the food arrival she said, "I'm waiting for it." When the order finally started. The meatballs were brought out by about 1:20, then a small plate of french french french french french french fries were placed on the table a few minutes later. No omelette in sight. Our reservation was 12:30. At 1:30 a.m., a bad looking omelet was created. At that time, my husband was over the whole experience. We paid the bill for consumed and abandoned items. Do not plan to go back

For the price, you can better food and better service. Think about Kona Grill as a diluted version of the cheesecake factory. The appetizers had prices of a high-end restaurant with serving sizes for a child. All the food was too salty and you felt hard after the meal. Two of our cups were not completely cleaned and one of our forks had a piece of residue attached to it. Overall no good experience.

First time there and will definitely be back. Loved everything!

This is my second time visiting so Greta to try new th ings on the menu will defintely be back
