My wife and I were really hoping that this place would live up to it 's exterior, it did not. We arrived early to beat any rush ; and were one of only two others in the place so..... The first impression of the interior was dated and the smell of dirty mop water. We braved through this and ventured onward.... We were greeted and seated quickly and then the menu 's arrived. Nice layout and a full with a variety of choices but the pricing immediately smacked us in the face, hard! We pressed ahead fully committed to the cause at this point. Ok so we thought we would order safe food. You know the type of typical Americanish cooking where it is hard to mess up...right? Well...... At $12.99 for six (6 previously frozen mozzarella sticks, $18.99 for a bacon cheeseburger that was, putting this in a nice way, pathetic and delivered with the wrong toppings and finally $21 for cold Chicken Alfredo. Yes cold and tasteless. So much for safe. Ok..ok the fries were decent and the fountain Coke/Sprite were ok as well. All in all my wife and I will not be returning to this place.
We had spent the day hiking and didn't want chain food. We stopped here and it was perfect. Portions were large. The grinders were made on in-house made bread. Even though the waitress was busy taking care of the bar and other things,, we never waited for anything. Glad we stopped.
Great family dinning. Food is awesome. They have a little of everything on the menu from burgers to pizza and sandwiches plus more. Out side seating with the family. For just adult time a bar and pool table and out side seating. Over head heaters. TVs out side for sports. Some nights they have karaoke and more.
- The first thing that struck me was the loud music they played, which seemed aimed at a different crowd than the one present. It felt a bit odd, but I suppose that's their choice. - The service was friendly, but the drinks took a long time to arrive. It felt like we waited quite a while for them to be made. - The price of $25 for two small Long Island Iced Teas in a small town felt quite excessive. Also, like many places these days, they made it complicated to tip appropriately. Why is the minimum tip suggested at $5 for just those two drinks? The tipping culture has gotten a bit out of hand. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The staff was pleasant, and it wasn't overly crowded. I think I might come back again.
