Heart Of Gold Diner - Oak Hill

Nice local diner. Not a chain, cooking homestyle food would recommend

I wanted some old fashioned breakfast and Heart of Gold serves breakfast all day. We were able to sit down immediately and place our order. The waitress was welcoming and many locals were there. All of the food was delicious and very inexpensive. The gravy was full of flavor and the biscuits were golden and flakey! The pancakes were fluffy and yummy! Our bacon was crispy and had good flavor. The French toast was good too. Overall, great experience there!!! Parking: Easy to park. Plenty of parking next to building. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Had plenty of foods like, an arcade machine, and desserts!

We were actually planning to go eat somewhere else, but we saw HOG and decided to try it. Best spontaneous decision ever! We had the Challenger burger and the Mushroom Swiss burger. Both were great portions for the price. Crispy fries and the fried pickle chips were crunchy! The server was sweet and friendly, and we didn't have to wait long. We had a lovely experience! Thank you!

What a great little diner! I was with a group who went white water rafting, and we had a variety of foods ordered. I had country fried steak with tater tots and chili. I liked all the flavors, they had delicious pie options for dessert (but I had a sundae). We were all pleased and full. Check it out! The parking lot and dining area is smaller, so it is more intimate.

Flys everywhere in dining area, food was good, service was adequate although server failed to check in with our party after food was delivered to table.
