Beer Shop - Oak Park

Would be 5/5 if it was 21+ only. Some places don’t need to be family friendly all the time.

Craft Beer , dogs you can let, and people apparently willing to share weed. What more can I say

I’m a big fan of the beer shop, it’s definitely an asset to the community and a great meeting place. As a non-drinker, I’ve always loved that they stock not only six-packs but single cans of NA brews so that I can still grab something when I go to hang out with my friends. However, the last several times I’ve gone the fridge that holds the NA beers has been so cold that all of the cans are frozen and not drinkable. It’s sort of a bummer because it has meant that we’ve left and gone to other bars/restaurants in the area even when we’ve wanted to hang out here. The staff has always been really great about the situation though and tries to find a solution, even in a rush. Edit: I’ve now been in at least two times since leaving this review and it has still been an issue. I don’t know if the fridge itself is broken but I’m not sure I will return until I’m certain that it is fixed.

No place like this in Oak Park, always a well-curated beer selection with willing and knowledgeable tenders. They stock cold beer too. What else do you need?

Such a kind place, I love the community atmosphere.
