Buona Oak Park

I have no complaints at all. The service is consistently excellent, and the food is always prepared correctly and fresh.

The prices are high, and the portions are inadequate. The food is good, but they seem to skimp on the meat and fries these days.

The Italian beef is fantastic, as always. It's consistently served on fresh bread, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The beef bite is also a must-try. The manager is always present to greet guests and ensure everything is running smoothly.

The beef sandwich is still tasty, but it's become quite small. I'm really disappointed. It seems like portion sizes are shrinking everywhere. I haven't been in Chicago for over four years, and Buona used to be my favorite. The beef quality is still good, but the sandwich is now more like finger food—I could easily eat three! Unfortunately, I realize it's no longer a small business and has become corporate, which probably affects the portion sizes.

I recently discovered the wonderful Buona! It had been several years since my last visit to this spot. I ordered the 7-inch beef with cheese and hot peppers, which was tasty, but I thought it could have benefited from a bit more dipping sauce, as it was a little dry and lacked some flavor. Overall, it was decent. The service was excellent, and my order was ready when I arrived, so I have no complaints in that regard. I definitely plan to come back!
