Living in Albion it was very exciting to have Kribi open in the lobby of the apartment complex. However, with the opening of Kribi, there is an overabundance of Kribi guests now occupying our apartment lobby. Additionally, Kribi continuously closes the walk-up window outside, which is disappointing for the many of us who have dogs and have to make two trips down to pick up coffee.
Went into Kribi Coffee this weekend. I placed an order for a coffee and a pastry with extra cream. When I received my cup, it was half full, and the gentleman said, with extra room, so then I had to ask for cream. I proceeded to wait for over 10 minutes for my pastry. While waiting, got to stand back and observe. People were coming and going. While observing, I noticed a woman coming in and clocking into work. I was standing against the wall, and she gave me the nastiest look imaginable. I just stood there, continuing to mind my own business. As she clocked in and proceeded to go on the other side of the counter, she took her personal water bottle, took the lid off, and filled it up with water. The water dispenser was close to where her mouth makes contact with the top of the water bottle. She continued to give nasty looks. I believe her name is Liz, based on the comment somebody else made when calling over to her. I simply want to feel appreciated as a customer and not have to wait forever for a pastry.
Love love this place! Pastries are amazing. Coffee well OMG!!! Service is always amazing. So patient with us older customers! Lol! The crew, Natalia, Rodney, Maggie, Gabby! Always friendly! Great way to start my day! Wish I lived closer to start my day off with them everyday! Thank you. Oh the place is so cute clean!
Incredible coffee, locally roasted, Black owned operated, and with incredible style to boot. This shop is a must for coffee dates, morning joe, beans for home, and cute swag.
