Salerno's Pizza Of Oak Park

We have always enjoyed our visits to Salernos. The food is always delicious and the service is always great. We have dined both inside and outside.

Needed a place last minute to have lunch after our father passed. They were extra accommodating. Way more people showed than we were expecting. We had to get more tables set up, order more food. Our father didn't have money. We barely made the funeral expenses, this lunch, with what we thought would be about 20 ending up over 50 people was way out of our budget after paying for the funeral. Salernos had no idea of any of this. The kindness they showed and helping us get the most for our money. They went above and beyond . The food was fabulous. Everyone was so nice we just wanted to thank them. Sometimes you don't know how kind your being when someone really needs it. We needed it today and they delivered. Thank you salernos we will always recommend you!!

Anything you decide to eat will be delicious. Dine at a table, munch at the fully stocked bar or enjoy eating outdoors on the patio. Private parties are doable. The atmosphere is always improving the staff is, all around, great.

The Gluten free pie is the bommmmmb. Lotsa cheese and a nice flavorful sauce.

First time visit to this cozy Italian bistro with my sons and grandsons on a random Saturday afternoon drive down Roosevelt Road. Greeted and seated like extended family. Exemplary service from the experienced waitstaff. Crusty bread hot out of the oven. Soup like Grandma used to make. Great pizza.
