Contribuisci feedbackI tried the double bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. My sundae was yummy as always. But my favorite part of my visit was Mike. He gave me service worthy of a 5 star restaurant. I was having trouble with my leg, so I don?t know if he was being kind or is always this kind, but he took my tray and later my food basket and brought me my sundae. He didn?t have to do any of that, it is a busy place! But he did and it totally made my day. Thank you Mike!
I do not get to Oakridge often. Friends have told me to check of Freddy's. I was welcomed by a kind gentleman named Mike. He showed great patience with me and answered my menu question. Was nice not to have someone rush me or make me feel like I was taking up their time. Mike is a great asset to your restaurant ???? The burger was fabulous, yes I ate every bite. The fries where thin, crispy and hot. Yes, I will return ????
I arrived at the drive-thru at 8:07 PM, and there were two cars ahead of me. We all waited for 20 minutes without any explanation for the delay or an estimated wait time. I was finally able to place my order around 8:25 PM. I didn't reach the window until 8:35 PM, and I received my food at 8:45 PM. While this would have been frustrating enough, the food was also terrible. I usually enjoy Freddy's, but the fries were barely warm, and somehow even colder than that. The cone was only half full, as shown in the picture. The burger was the driest and most burnt one I have ever had. Overall, the service was unacceptable, and the food was disappointing.
The wait time is longer than at most fast food places, but that's understandable since the food is made fresh to order. They did forget my two large drinks, but when I went inside to address the issue, they were very apologetic and kind. The service was excellent. While the burger isn't my favorite, it was definitely fresh. The fries were perfect, and the drinks were genuinely large.
I really wanted to enjoy this place, especially after seeing the decent reviews and noticing its charming atmosphere. However, the reality of the dessert presentation was a far cry from what was advertised. This photo shows my sundae just two minutes after it was served, and I was left feeling severely disappointed. I visited on a Saturday at 8 PM, and the drive-thru line was nearly wrapping around the building, which might have contributed to the subpar experience with my sundae and concrete. The chaos in the kitchen and dessert station was evident, with most of the staff appearing overwhelmed and frantic while trying to fulfill orders. At least the food looked somewhat decent; I hope it tastes good!
