Hunan Villa - Oakdale

The lunch specials are fantastic! They're generous portions that can easily be two meals, all for under $8! The steamed dumplings are also excellent. We usually place our order online, and it’s ready in about 15 minutes. The food is always hot and delicious. This place is far superior to any other Chinese restaurant in Oakdale!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The snow peas, water chestnuts, and black mushrooms were delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and very reasonably priced. The photo shows my meal after I had already eaten about half of it. I also want to mention that despite Google showing incorrect opening hours, they stayed open a bit later to serve me the food I urgently needed after three days of camping and a long three-hour drive back home. I truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture. Wishing blessings for this wonderful family!

The Spicy Kung Pow Veggies were fantastic! The roasted rice with eggs and the roasted rice with chicken were tasty too (just remember to add soy sauce). The portion sizes are a great value for the price. I definitely recommend stopping here if you’re traveling between the Bay Area and Yosemite and in search of Chinese food. Keep in mind that they’re currently offering takeout only. Also, make sure to check if they provide disposable cutlery before you leave!
