Mannino's - Oakdale

The service was great but the food was excellent! Haven’t been here since pre covid and I think it’s even better than then! Mussels w Gorgonzola were delicious as was the wild salmon.

If you have celiac disease or a wheat/gluten allergy, be extremely careful of this place! There are items on the menu that are labeled GF and are not (for example, one item contains soy sauce, which most know is not gluten free) and others that appear to be gluten free that are not marked, so it is quite unclear. What really is disturbing though is that they offer gluten free pasta to sub out, but when I asked the waitress, she stated that they cook the gluten free pasta in the same pasta water that they are cooking wheat pasta in. This is negligent, dangerous, and downright scary. I know the risks of going out to eat with possible cross-contamination, but… you might as well not even offer it as an option. Seriously, someone is going to get sick. Please do better and be more diligent— it’s 2024, allergies are common. Dietary restrictions: I really did not feel safe eating here with my dietary restrictions. Branzino was fine. Nothing special and not worth the $44 but it was the only thing on the menu I felt might be the safest.

It was our first time going to Mannino's. It was fabulous. Our waitress was very nice, helpful, and informative. I had a few questions about different foods, and she found out the answers for me. The portion sizes were generous from the appetizer we ordered to our dessert. The eggplant parmigiana was honestly the best I've ever had anywhere. My husband had the veal with shrimp, and he raved about it. We'll definitely go back in the future.

Great food! Attentive, professional service. warm, comfortable atmosphere. We had a really nice family there today.

The Beef Short Rib over Mashed Special was the best I had ! John is always there taking meticulous care!
