Lovely relaxed village pub, dog and child friendly, lovely staff, pool table, regular music events held here, great space.
We received a warm and welcoming reception on a rainy Bank Holiday. We were camping nearby for the Easter weekend and sought refuge in the cozy ambiance of the Noel during the downpours. The food was outstanding, abundant, and reasonably priced. The men agreed that the Guinness was excellent, and our schnauzer was thrilled with the biscuits. It was a lovely little find, and we would definitely return.
The bar staff here are friendly, which is something I consider quite important in a pub. They also have a meeting room available, and I've heard they feature live music every Saturday. This schedule is posted weekly on their Facebook page. The atmosphere isn't perfect, but it’s nice enough for my enjoyment. I didn’t inquire about food options.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, and we felt it offered good value for money. The children's meals also appeared to be of good quality and a generous portion size. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Recommended dish: Pulled Pork.
