Quates Mexican - Oakland Park

Surprisingly good Mexican food. I had some Ropa Vieja and a fish taco and my hubby had steak quesadilla. The beef was a little on the salty side for my taste but overall good. My hubby said that the quesedillas were great! Will come back to this place when we need some variety to eat.

We had a carrier inspection for a storm loss out in Coconut Creek so on the way back we stopped to enjoy so e Cinco De Mayo good cheer great food. The kids in the dance troupe were so joyous and colorful. We had Ropa Vieja, and 3 Tacos Fish, Shrimp Chicken along with a basket of really fresh warm pleasantly perfectly salty tortilla chips and salsa. All excellent.

For $13 im guessing this was ok. A definite no for me compared to any other mexican restaurant i frequent. This was my first time there ordering Take Out to try them out

We used to love the tacos there but today we ordered our usual tacos al pastor and there was little to no meat . Not only that the tacos shrank but now we got no meat, Mainly pineapple. We are so sad today. Maybe they can rise the price to adjust to inflation but keep the size and the amount of meat please. CustomerS DO notice the difference in the portions

We went about 7pm and had a wonderful dinner with wonderful service. They were alert to our needs and took dishes as finished. We had the full meat Fajitas and I had the Cuban Chicken with rice, beans, and plantains. The fajitas is enough for two people. We took it home and enjoyed it again. The wine was recommended and was excellent also. We frequent this inexpensive restaurant probably every 2 weeks.
