Da Vinci's Pasta Pizza - Oakland

I had a wonderful dinner that reminded me of home-cooked meals. The prices were reasonable, and everything was delicious! The portion sizes were generous—we even had leftovers to take home. The lasagna came with plenty of extra sauce, which was perfect for dipping the breadsticks—so tasty! However, I wouldn’t recommend the minestrone as a side; it was a bit watery and lacking in flavor. But I can’t complain too much since it was a complimentary side.

The food was delicious! I highly recommend the lasagne and gnocchi—they were fantastic. The meal also includes breadsticks, which is a nice touch. The only drawback, and the reason I gave it four stars instead of five, was that the dining-in experience took a while because there seemed to be a lot of pickup orders.

I enjoyed the cheese pizza slice I ordered; it was quite tasty. The garlicky cheese bread was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I liked that you can order just one slice of pizza, and they bring you two large slices instead. In comparison to another review, I found the prices to be very reasonable—just $2 for a side salad and $3.50 for the two oversized pizza slices.
