Eden Plaza Cafe - Oakland

Food not good, pricey and skimpy on the cream cheese. Bagel not really toasted. Check out the pic! Owner rude threw my items in the bag and didn't even say hello. I can imagine how he treat his staff.

This place is honestly underrated. I have only had the sandwiches (the turkey club on Dutch crunch), but they are pretty good. Also, the staff is super nice and always very friendly. The location is great as it's right across from the Oakland Museum. The variety of food they have (from salads to sandwiches to burritos and pasta salads) is great. Would recommend!

It is easy to overlook this small corner, but we have a fast delicious salad of the chef of cuisine from them with hella tips, as well as a satisfying fruit bowl. we also had a prefabricated spaghetti container, but not impressed by the lack of meat and one-dimensional taste that reminded me of alphabetsuppe as a child. the owners are friendly and helpful, we loved 2 of the 3 fast togo options we got, and all our food came in size proportions. if I worked near, I would like to pick them up for salads (and I am not even an salat person! . our was with delicious beats, much sink and other tasty bites to make it worth it. give them a try when they are looking for a cost-effective, fast and healthy takeout!
