Hegenburger - Oakland

This restaurant in Oakland is truly a gem, showcasing a dedication to quality and care. I tried the chicken teriyaki in a hegenburger, and it was fantastic—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sodium in the sauce. It gets quite busy during peak hours, but the staff and customers alike are patient, knowing that the food they receive is good for them. I look forward to trying the burger on my next visit!

I really enjoy a hearty, juicy burger, and this place definitely delivered! I ordered a mushroom burger and loved that it was loaded with fresh mushrooms. The fries were also plentiful and fresh. The service was friendly and quick, which was impressive for a casual eatery. The restaurant was clean, with no sticky tables like you often find elsewhere, and the floors were spotless! It's family-owned, which I always appreciate. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area for a quick burger or something else.

Hegenburger is undoubtedly the best burger spot in Oakland! Their curly fries are simply amazing. I've been a regular for about three years, and I appreciate that I can still go there with my vegetarian/pescatarian friend because their veggie burger is fantastic! They also offer a fish burger, and their teriyaki salmon is delicious! I give them 5 out of 5 stars for their creative menu and consistently wonderful service!

Large burger, fresh rolls and their salads are all green. kale, green leaf, cauliflower and carrotts with beautifully cut gurkens. fries go stupid, curvy, garlic and steak. haven't you eaten yet? you are playing yourself

Don't let the part of town scare you... Friendly service with great burgers. Tasty french fries and veggies burgers that are better than what most places serve. The people at the counter seemed to truly care about providing a satisfying meal. Great stop before returning to airport.
