I've visited this restaurant before, but this time it was on my daughter's 18th birthday, about 2 weeks after we went to Roscoe's in LA. We thought Roscoe's was good, but I have to say, Embarcadero's version surpassed it! The food arrived quickly and was piping hot! Our waitress was incredibly sweet and the customer service was excellent. The food was amazing with large portion sizes, definitely not stingy with the portions! I also appreciated that I could get food late at night. They stay open until 4 am on Saturdays! Initially, I was a bit concerned about being in Oakland so late, but they had security at the door who were very friendly and made us feel safe eating there with my daughter. Kudos to the owner for running such a fantastic establishment!

On Sundays, it is important to have patience when visiting this restaurant. My friends and I recently dined here for the first time. While waiting, we enjoyed some bottomless mimosas. I ordered Angie's special and it was delicious! The portion was so generous that I usually can't finish my food, but this time I ate everything because it was just that good. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The chicken was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The drinks were surprisingly strong on the alcohol. Great place for brunchFood: 5/5

I only get to eat here once a year and I look forward to it every time. The staff and atmosphere are wonderful. The staff is friendly, fun, attentive, and prompt. Very upbeat atmosphere. The food is unbeatable. The Southern fried chicken is cooked perfectly. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The waffles are the best I've ever eaten, period. I always get the grits and they are the best I have found outside of the Southern states. I got the Mac and Cheese last time I was there and it was delicious. If you're anywhere near here, go eat here. You will love it

Definitely some good fried chicken. Everyone was friendly welcoming. I recommend Njambi's Majic. Delicious fried chicken breast nestled next to some savory beans and rice. Always satisfying.Food: 5/5
