The food here reminds me of the meals I had during my temple stays in Japan. So fresh and nourishing. It's not the of type food with sugar and msg that gets you addicted but the kind of place you think about when you want to be hugged by nutrition. The flavors are clean and healthy, almost like chicken noodle soup for the soul. You'll leave satisfied and feeling good about yourself. On a side note, I like their choice in disposable chopsticks. It's a darker wooden color than typical and it's blister free. It's street parking but there's not a lot of businesses around so it's easy enough to find a place to park, just don't block people's driveways! There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's small but cozy enough. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The main menu is on the door and on the board inside. There's also a specials menu on the board inside. There were lots of take out orders while I was there. I feel like this place isn't for everyone but for the people that do vibe with it, you'll love it.
Get the set and enjoy! Some of the best fried tofu I've ever had.
Some of the best ban chan and tofu you will ever have. If I lived closer, I would definitely be on their weekly subscription service. Would love to see their products in local grocery stores.Vegetarian options: Many dishes could be made vegan
Really charming and incredibly clean spot for lunch or dinner. I usually take their recommendation on what I should have each time. I typically stay away from fried stuff, but the fried tofu here is so light and beautiful.
