Mountain Mike's Pizza - Oakland

Ordered a SMALL pizza with 3 toppings,got in the shop found a MINI kids size pizza the lady was in defense mode justification why she changed what clear for me when the number of toppings changed the price NOT the size. POOR customer service was not in the mood to argue just paid. NIE back?. If you do not wish this service

Friendly staff and there is a half private space available for larger groups. The room can easily accommodate 30 people, maybe more, but they also use it for storage so if you? You want all the space you should know before time. This was a great option for our son's birthday, where we meet here to eat first with the guests before we go to the activity nearby.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in one to two block radius. There is much better pizza in Oakland, but in this area this is the best. There are at least four pizza places, two small businesses and two companies, in my area. Mountain Mike is the only one I'll eat. Owners and operators are great. Never had a bad experience.

About a year ago we were treated poorly by the manager employees on site when their own credit card machines were down. Just posting so management realizes the impact of poor service... Since that day we have avoided mountain mike's at all costs even though it is clearly the most convenient option for us. We have since hosted 20+ events in the past year at Berkeley where $5k+ went to a different pizza restaurant. Hope this chain learns to treat their customers better going forward.
