Palmento a Dopo - Oakland

Overpriced, very small servings, This was less than 1 star. It's on Piedmont Ave in a Trendy neighborhood but don't bother.

Very good quality food and enjoyed our meal. The addition of some of the key Adesso menu items is nice. Tried the Duck pate and it was excellent. Service was nice but went on a Tuesday and seemed short staffed. Wine was not as good as the one from Adesso and Cannoli was just ok. But will be back more often as it is a neighborhood gem restaurant and we live near.

Food selection was limited too pricy for what we got. Service was minimal more attentive to customers staff knew service should be equal to all customers. Most disappointing.

The dopo pizza is fantastic. We also had the lasagna and pasta with clams which were also very good. But the pizza is what we will be coming back for.

Quality pizza with unique crust. Not chewy like traditional, more crunchy, almost cheese cracker crust. Bake at home pasta was average, but the ricotta was delicious.
