The happy hour offers a dozen oysters for $30, which is a great deal compared to the regular price of $40. These oysters are larger than the smallest ones and have a pleasantly buttery flavor. The dipping sauce that accompanies them is genuinely delicious.
We visited this restaurant shortly before closing time as a group of five and really enjoyed our meals. Most of the dishes we ordered were seafood, but we also tried a few non-seafood options. I especially liked the Fisherman's Stew. Overall, it’s a great place with communal seating shared by other nearby restaurants.
Love this place, oustanding food and some of best *clean* natural wines downtown. Then there's the atmosphere, inside and curbside gardens. A true Oakland gem!
