The Halal Guys - Oakland

Getting a little overpriced at $17 after tax for a regular platter, but still a great and tasty option

I wanted to order meals for two Muslim friends at an Oakland hospital with their sick 3 year old. I did the order online after quite a while the tracking said there is a problem! I called and there was NO record of my order and, even though their siteoffered delivery, THEY DO NOT DELIVER!!! I am three hours away and am totally frustrated!

I was super mistreated on the phone by someone called Natasha. She hang up the phone on my face, and did not want to cancel my order even though they said they didn?t have the food to delivery. I really hope management do something because this is theworst experience.

Delightful little crew. There is a young black women speedy with the meals like a finessed race car teammate. And a brown gentleman who has great hospitality. The other crew have great smiles. They all deserve tip only if you can financially affordit. Insh'Allah the inflation and the prices in the Town go down. Now it says halal guys, and the two gentleman do a phenomenal job. But you gotta give it up to the ladies. I feel like this is a halal woman all of a sudden. Now the food is great. I hadthe new savory herb beef gyro.At first you think you dry but there?s more to it. The flavor is slightly enhance if you look forthat taste. It goes well with the creamy white sauce. Some flavors overpower each other so you don?t want too much meatyjuices. I love the hot sauce, but be warned they do warn you it is quite hot. The vegetables have a nice bit of water meshingwith the savory meat. You need the white sauce and tahini (be warned of sesame allergy). I do like the kalamata olives andonions. Anyways it was great and mouth watering. Halal guys turned to halal brown skin girls. Yes Queen.

I go every time I'm in Oakland/Alameda. I love this place. always fresh ingredients even late in the night.
