The Worst Ribs in NOVA! Once again, I made the mistake of trying BBQ ribs at the Oakton, Virginia location. The only thing that seems to fall off the bone there is your teeth as you struggle with the reheated, dried-out meat that arrives as a half slab special. I keep going back to F. Dave's because of their fantastic onion rings, but the fading memories of their subpar ribs lead to yet another disappointing dining experience. With so many other places in NOVA that serve high-quality ribs, I’m not sure how F. Dave's manages to stay in business. While their service and ambiance are commendable, they simply can’t make up for the poor quality of the ribs.

Absolutely delicious! I tried the famous Dave's brisket sandwich paired with Wilbur's baked beans, and it was outstanding! Our waitress, Karen, provided exceptional service. Her dedication to her job and her customers was truly impressive—one of the best experiences we've ever had! We dine out at least once a week, and she is by far the most dedicated waitress we've encountered in a long time!

Is there a way to give this place a zero-star rating? I just had a terrible experience. We ordered delivery through the Famous Dave's website, and when it didn’t arrive on time, we called to check on our order. The manager informed us that the delivery was completely out of their control and that it would now be arriving an hour late. He also suggested that we could just reheat the food when it finally arrived, implying that it would still be fine, and insisted that since we chose delivery instead of picking it up ourselves (which seems to be more profitable for them), we should simply accept cold food. There was no offer to make things right or to do anything other than send food he knew would be subpar. I strongly advise against ordering delivery from here, and I wouldn't expect any better service if you decide to dine in!
