Art's Fish Chips - Oakville

The food is incredibly fresh, and the family that runs the restaurant is wonderful. I order takeout from here at least once a month.

The best fish and chips in Oakville! I've been a regular since 1997, the year I moved here, and Art's has always delivered consistent quality. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. This place has a rich history, yet it's somewhat of a hidden gem, as not many are aware of its existence or just how great the food is. I highly recommend Art's for both dining in and takeout.

The New Go To Spot. My dad is an avid fish n chip eater. He rates each meal he eats and, though few have come close to a perfect 10/10, Art's is ranked the highest. He rarely returns to the same place twice, but I think Art's has become his new go to spot as he's on visit #8 now which was unheard of before we discovered this gem of a place. The owners are also very nice and personable. There's no pretense about the place you get what you go for and that's just the way we like it! Thanks also to the North Oakville Today newspaper for running the ad that introduced us to Art's. I don't know that we would have found it otherwise.

By far the best fish and chips in Oakville. The owners are amazing, but if you plan to order on a holiday, be prepared for a wait since it’s a popular spot for locals.

The new owners have taken over, but the size and taste of the fish are just as I remember from about five years ago. I do wish it were less greasy, but overall, it's still good.
