They showcase where everything comes from on a board, as well as the charitable work they do. Today, I ordered the sweet potato fries and a veggie burger. They offer a variety of vegan-friendly options on the menu, such as salads, grain bowls, and roasted veggies. Overall, I was impressed! I only deducted 1 star for not offering vegan mayo.
A friend introduced me to this place I have driven past so many times!!! It was wonderful. Staff and food are fabulous. All so fresh and very tasty. Such wonderful choices and most everything comes from Ontario producers! You simply have to stop in.
Fresh food at reasonable prices. When crowded, it gets real noisy. If you like healthy choices, this is the place to go. Don't expect table service.
The service wasn't anything special and the food was just okay. Wouldn't make a point of going back, but it is nice to have a healthy option available. Love their fountain drinks, but skip the Kid's Meals as they are very, very small portions.
We went to the new one that opened at the corner of Neyagawa and Dundas near the Fortino's. Their bowls are very good, both ancient grains or quinoa. But ask for the grains to be hot. I had one once and it was cold. Why I rated this a 3 is because of their salads. They are the same price as the bowls and a complete rip off. My husband and I went for lunch there this week and he had the feature berry salad. The sample that was prepared and shown at the order counter looked really good with lots of spinach and lots of toppings of berries, goat cheese etc. The bowl was overflowing. When we actually got it, we couldn't believe it, it literally was a handful of spinach and a few, I mean a few, berries, cheese and dried figs (not even fresh ones). And it was $12!!!! I had to give him some of my bowl meal. I would never order a salad there. I did it once before and noticed the small portion size for the money. If you want the bowls, they're very good, although they could go a little less on the carrots and add some other veggies. But if you're looking for a hearty filling salad, go to Artisan Bakery Cafe or Panera, same price but with protein and lots to eat. Oh and yes if you order a protein with the salad at b.good, it's extra and watch out, if you order turkey, it's the turkey burger and I think we paid another $6 or $7 for it. Not worth it at all.
