Borgo Antico Cucina - Oakville

We really had a different experience and found the service and food not up to other times we have gone. It took forever for drinks to arrive and then our food as well was overly slow!

We tried this place by chance as we couldn’t get seat in another Italian place nearby. The staff was good, not very helpful in explaining the menu. Some of the dishes we ordered lacked flavor like mushroom pasta was okish, but daily dish(linguini was good), fried cauliflower was also good along with fried shrimps and calamari. The mock-tails were not good at all, it was simply soda water with little syrup inside. The menu is very limited but definitely room for improvement.

The food here is so freaking delicious! The drinks are so tasty they also have super cute glassware! The environment is never too loud and the servers are so lovely and such gentlemen! Never a bad visit here!

We've been back numerous times... first time prior to the pandemic. Food and drink has always been incredible. Service, surprisingly, and disappointingly after returning from the pandemic, has not been up to the food standard, and our original experience. Would just like a tiny bit more engagement, and then visible appreciation for our business after we spend a not unsizable amount... which we could have chosen to spend anywhere.
