Coffee was excellent and was topped up a number of times. I ordered the cheese crepe with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast also done to perfection and served with fresh fruit. Good food and exceptional service earn Coras five stars. Will definitely return again
I haven't been here in a while....now I remember why! Food is pretty average if anything. Service was slow, friendly, but slow and painful at times. This place used to be busy and portion size seemed to have shrunk. Meh. Lots of competition in the breakfast game. Keep up Cora's
I stop at Cora's any time I can when traveling in Canada. Traditional egg/pancake breakfasts but the side of fruit is amazing!!!!!!
Something has happened in the kitchen of this restaurant. Very sad as it used to be reliably good.It used to be that everything from the kitchen was perfect. The Mushroom and Brie benedict had the cheese melting and was served hot. Every dish would be served hot with everything tasting as it should. We ate there many times and had been very happy. But suddenly something happened. Almost like a change in management of the kitchen or something. It was aboot a year ago and everything started going downhill very quickly. The benedict now arrives cold, the skillets arrive swimming in oil, the hash-browns are cold, etc.In the last year we have had 4 disappointing meals there with one where the comped us. We keep returning in the hopes that it will get better, but it doesn't seem to.We've also noticed the lineups are much smaller now than they were 2 years ago. I suspect we're not the only ones who have noticed. My hope is that they turn this place around. There aren't many good breakfast places in Oakville. It would be wonderful if this could be great again.
I have had the pleasure of eating at Cora's Restaurants in Edmonton, Oakville and Burlington. Last week I had a small breakfast meeting at the Chez Cora on the North Service road in Oakville. As always the coffee was hot, the service was great and the breakfast was fresh, tasty and great quality.Charmaine HammondMillion Acts of Kindness Tourand guest writer for CanadianTraveller Magazine
