Corks Beer Wine - Oakville

I stopped by for a snack and I was quite impressed by the salad bar. They have a hot table too. If you go by to where the pizzas are, they sometimes give samples of pizza and flatbreads. Nice! Did you know there's a bar upstairs? We're talking beer, wine, spirits... IN A GROCERY STORE?!?! It's a separate entity which was both baffling and impressive at the same time. Stop by after work, get your groceries, grab a drink, eat some oysters, head home... this is one stop shopping on another level.

Awful Waited at the meat counter for 30 minutes today as the staff were standing around talking .... no care about their customers. I had to leave and get to work.

We intended on coming in to browse for a ready made lunch idea that wouldn 't require reheating the next day. I don 't come to Longo 's often so I was once again amazed at how neat the rows of produce were! They had a sample station between the bakery and the veggies aisle. They were sampling their festive turkey pie which was actually amazing. It is sort of like a chicken pot pie but is filled with what you 'd find at a Thanksgiving dinner, so the turkey, stuffing, and cranberries are all inside and it is balanced beautifully. They were actually sold out of the pies the last one in the store was the one they were sampling! Other cool stuff that I found at Longo 's were apples that were red on the inside. There was one with a yellow exterior and the other was red, but they were both supposed to be red on the inside as well. These went for $2 an apple and they came in a pack of 4. Not cheap but kind of neat. I also saw that they had a 12 days of Cheesemas advent type calendar which I 'm planning to sample. Again, not cheap at $20 but definitely unique.

Smallish grocery store but we found some really good and unique items. They were handing out a lot of samples which was cool.

My go to for lobster and wine stop all in one. Clean store. Love the display of produce and good selection of cheeses and cured meats. Only downfall more selection of butcher items would be ideal
