I have a little price for a local. last visit, had a problem with the wings - not up to par. I personally brought them out of the terrace and got the attention of the new owner. he began to argue with me before our waiter that they were in order and they were the way they suspected. I'm gonna take the chef out and he can tell them they're the way they should be, he snapped! I turned around, took the wing and went back to my table. my waiter came and apologized. we're sadly done there. with such a setting the stout monks tags are numbered. the merchant
The stout is a great place to get dinner with the family or date at night! the ambiente is great and we couldn't be happier with our experiences. during the covid we have a lot of food pick up and can assure them that, although we miss the atmosphere, the quality of food is great! can not wait to be in the hottest of a busy restaurant with their live music as fast as possible!
My wife I had eaten in the stout monk enjoyed the atmosphere. there were sections of the restaurants with dedicated themes. there was a hockey/baseball room, an Elvis room, a rat Pack lounge etc. when our first visit was, we have. a tour made by reno and his wife lena. we had not noticed that the entry where there are pictures of reno with some very well known people. I challenge them to identify them all. because we only needed a light lunch, we ordered the appetizer. my wife had the fish tacos and I was offered something not even on the menu – half a rack of ribs at an appetizer price. I think we'll be back soon for fish chips.
This was our first visit to The Stout Monk and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is very well decorated and the service was top-notch. Our family of four started with the nachos, which were the best nachos we've ever had. The toppings were fresh and perfectly layered. For our main dishes, we ordered the fish and chips, chicken wings, and the Stout Burger. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend The Stout Monk. They have a wide selection of drinks to choose from as well. We will definitely be returning.
I went out for dinner with a friend and we were extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. The bartender seemed overwhelmed and unable to attend to our table. We ordered Macaroni and cheese and cauliflower bites, but the bites were served cold and the macaroni had split into three different sections: a dry burnt top, overcooked pasta, and excessive grease. My boyfriend tried to address the issue with the server, but she was rude, dismissive, and did not offer any solution. We used to be regular customers, but this experience was a waste of an evening. I would recommend going to State and Main or Kelseys for more consistent food quality.
