My wife and I learned more in one evening of mezcal than in all our years living together in Mexico. No brands, no fancy labels and a high focus on education, but over 100 different small batch mescals sourced directly from the maestro destileros (small town master distillers). From different varieties of Mescal, different distilling processes (clay vs copper), how the flavor changes over time, and why commercial mezcals don’t do them justice. So worth coming here again and again to learn more.

Amazing experience!! Very knowledgeable staff. My husband and I each tried 5 mezcals, and the favors were tailored well to our individual tastes. We ended up buying a few bottles because the mezcals here were drastically more interesting than anything else we have tried while in Oaxaca or the United States. I love that they support small local production as well as female producers. A must go, book in advance!!
